Our Purpose

The Reflux developer group and user community are dedicated to providing a harassment-free and deeply enriching experience for everyone, regardless of experience level, artistic discipline, gender, identity, orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, age, religion, or technical stack choices.

We believe that Blender tools thrive when diverse artistic philosophies and technical workflows merge. This code of conduct establishes standard principles meant to protect our community members, beta testers, git contributors, and everyday asset creators from negative, harmful environments.

"We expect our community members to champion collaboration, assist newcomers, respect intellectual property, and help build a constructive platform for advanced digital art generation."

Expected Behaviors

To help build a flourishing environment for all users, we actively encourage and look out for actions that enrich our ecosystem:

  • Empathy and Compassion: Showing deep understanding toward fellow artists and tools users. Treating their unique feature suggestions and bug issues with mutual dignity.
  • Constructive Criticism: Framing technical critiques and rendering style feedback positively. Focus squarely on code performance, UX enhancement, or creative methodology rather than attacking individual competencies.
  • Inclusivity and Respect: Adopting welcoming terminology, supporting junior technical artists, and explicitly respecting localized styling nuances across international communities.
  • Graceful Collaboration: Accepting workflow alterations, respecting design directions set by team leads, and cleanly aligning documentation pull requests.

Unacceptable Conduct

To safeguard our workspace against systemic toxic developments, the following specific patterns of behavior are strictly banned inside our platforms, repositories, chats, and forums:

  • The submission or presentation of highly sexualized text, suggestive media configurations, or unwelcome intimate invitations.
  • Trolling, insult triggers, derogatory profiling, public character defamation, or coordinated targeted professional harassment.
  • Publicly or privately distribution of personal direct identifying data without clear affirmative consent (doxing).
  • Sustained disruptive interactions across technical issues trackers, video channels, discord pipelines, or forum boards.
  • Deliberate distribution of broken source assets, tracking spyware, malicious dynamic python injections, or cracked commercial scripts.

Management Responsibilities

The core development team and authorized project maintainers hold ultimate responsibility for clarifying and maintaining acceptable standards of group behavior. Maintainers reserve right and privilege to review, edit, reject, lock, or drop comments, commits, code strings, wiki text, or bug requests failing to align with this standard framework.

Project maintainers are expected to act with fairness, equity, and absolute transparency when managing issues reports, keeping the overall productivity and health of the user ecosystem at the absolute forefront.

Enforcement Guide

When instances of unacceptable behavior are flagged, core project management teams will invoke precise escalating stages of remediation based on verified patterns:

  1. Stage 1: Official Notice — A private, written notification highlighting the exact breached standard, accompanied by clear functional guidelines for corrected personal expression.
  2. Stage 2: Strict Warning — Issued for repeated occurrences or severe single breaches. Includes a formal statement indicating future violations will yield absolute community restrictions.
  3. Stage 3: Service Suspension — A structured, time-limited exclusion from all Reflux git branches, discord threads, and specialized community boards.
  4. Stage 4: Permanent Ban — Issued for continuous bad faith behaviors, extreme protocol violations, or total refusal to respect community boundaries. Absolute permanent termination of access.

Scope of Application

This code applies natively across all shared work domains managed around the Reflux project ecosystem. This includes dedicated code repositories, developer tracking services, direct community channels, technical support forums, and promotional events.

Furthermore, it covers situations where an individual's external public actions directly impact the project's reputation or safe workspace environment.

Reporting Procedures

Instances of toxic, harassing, or problematic behavior can be directly submitted to our dedicated security and integrity workspace via email at compliance@reflux-addon.com. All formal incoming tracking queries will be comprehensively reviewed under strict privacy protection protocols.

We are dedicated to resolving all valid compliance issues promptly, ensuring our community remains a safe, productive, and inspiring space for Blender artists worldwide.
