The Founders

We design automation pipelines for Blender Creators

Reflux was founded by a duo of technical animators and software engineers fed up with wasting crucial creative hours sitting through endless manual render checks.

Our Origin Story

How Reflux evolved from an internal studio script into a global automation ecosystem.

In mid production cycles, our render farms constantly locked up. Tracking down VRAM leaks, tweaking noise variance thresholds, and balancing optimization properties across thousands of asset clusters manually was costing us infinite creativity hours.

We realized that nobody should have to look up hidden rendering parameters buried inside 12 layers of subpanels just to get clean preview viewport outputs. We set out to combine professional system rendering configuration models into single-click automation tokens.

Today, Reflux helps creators switch between Low, Balanced, and High render parameters profiles instantly while running hardware-accelerated look transformations grading engines natively in Blender.

Our Core Philosophies

The foundational development structural rules we follow while designing tools.

Absolute Optimization

Every rendering preset is structured to safely parse hardware limits dynamically, avoiding system out-of-memory application crashes.

Interface Simplicity

Bypass the cognitive load. No multi-tier sliding bars or abstract terms. Single-click actions execute deep backend configurations instantly.

Color Accuracy First

Our look transformation engines alter color curves cleanly within native matrix pipelines without destroying raw dynamic color exposure levels.

Behind the Addon

The two-person engineering squad handling your daily rendering speedups.

Swastik Rout
Systems & Pipeline Engineer
Technical Director. Writes high-level javascript and css layout systems and memory allocation wrappers to safely hook background engine profiles without crashing the scene logic tree.
Ritish Maindoliya
Color Science & UX Designer
Handles the vector transformation lookup matrices and UI layout parameters. Passionate about real-time viewport fidelity and procedural texture sub-sampling.

Development Milestones Timeline

Our journey engineering high-speed render tracking solutions profiles.

December 2025

The Initial Pipeline Script

Reflux begins as a simple 50-line macro utility automation block to clear out recursive bounce reflections on studio project nodes.

January 2026

The Presets Engine Implementation

We bundled automated adaptive loops metrics directly into explicit, single-button Low, Balanced, and High presets setups.

March 2026

The Color Look Modular Engine Launch

Integrated native LUT transform functions directly into Blender's color management pipeline drawer for cinematic and dark setups.

Active Era (2026)

Global Community Expansion

Reflux hits over 120,000 installations globally, supporting seamless Python API scripting actions across major studio render pipelines.
